The first of RE:Edit's products was a draft book created within a $7 journal. It was called "Rebuild this city on _____ & _____" and was designed in February 2015 as a basic prototype to the InCompass/AddVenture format.
In April 2015, the project was re-named "RE:Blank This City", or "RTC" for short, with the tagline "You fill in the blanks".
After our first commissioned book (InCompass X Sumner/Riverdale) was published, we registered as a limited liability company under the name "RE:Edit Limited" (RE:Blank was taken) based on the idea that all of our products have to be RE:Edited - among other 're' words - in some way by their end users. The RE:Edit theory is a method that permeates every interaction we share with customers, users, processes and products.
In December 2015, the RTC Project and our commissions were divided into their two purposes: InCompass, for products that refer to specific ideas or learning journeys, and AddVenture, for products that are created around specific places and associated personal discoveries.
RE:Edit continues to operate under the tagline - "RE:Edit is a verb. How will you?"
